Thrift shopping: the next generation

Saturday, my friend Tim and I hit the thrift stores with Lucy. She's been thrift shopping with me since birth, first in the sling, then in the cart, and as of this weekend, on her own two feet.

The girl knows what she likes: books and baubles. A girl after her mama's heart.

Oh my goodness you have a cute baby! My littlest one (six months) doesn't mind the thrifting yet, but my two year old doesn't much care for it these days...the only isle he can be convinced of is that book isle, because I always let him bring one home. happy thrifting. seriously, she is SO cute!

Alright go for the jewelry! Adds a little pizzaz to go with her new knits.

BAAAAA BULLLL.
BAAAAA BULLLL.

Ornament.
Oh, maybe not yet.

Bowling ball?

(Pardon the cryptic mom-speak. The child can say bauble and bowling ball but not ornament, yet.)
