To warm up on these chilly, damp afternoons, I've been making tea for the kids this week. Here's their afternoon tea, set out on a new (old) tablecloth (yet another gift from Melissa).
And we have proof that spring is coming...the chickens are back to three eggs a day.

Love the tea set and the tablecloth. You treat children so respectfully:)
Spring does seem like it's coming a bit earlier this year, and I think that is partly because our chickens are laying more frequently... we've been collecting 4, sometimes 5 a day from our 5 hens!
Come on, spring...

Ok tomorrow I'm taking out my little Asian teapot out for the kids. We never use the cups. Perfect for these rainy days. Hope it's ok if I borrow this Day 6 of beauty:)
Your tea looks so light and soothing. What kind is it?
am loving your beauty photos and enjoying your blog xxx
Meryl, the tea is very light because I only put one tea bag in the pot (the kids like it weak). It's called "Bengal Spice," something my mom brought the last time she came. The kids love it.
Oh. Afternoon tea. How LOVELY. So beautiful.
Spring? YES PLEASE.
Oh, looks like fun, tea sounds good right now. And I love that table cloth, super cute!
At first glance, I thought those tea cups had crochet cozies. What a cute pattern!
