If you haven't yet joined Ginny's Yarn Along, today's the day to do it; she's hosting a giveaway!
A few weeks ago, Ginny's yarn-along post reminded me of these hearts I'd wanted to try since last year. I tried one, and really struggled with the tiny scale; it came out nearly unrecognizable as a heart. So then I tried this pattern, with more success. That gave me the courage to try more super-tiny ones, and this time, they came out pretty cute. I'm thinking the larger ones will become a valentine's day garland for my kitchen window, and the smaller ones maybe for my mirror.
And I'm still reading One Thousand White Women, and highly recommend it!

The hearts are so sweet. They look great. Ok another book for my wish list. One good thing about the yarn along is adding to my book wish list.
Very cute! I just made some similar to these (but with one more round I think) andmade long chains on them to turn them into necklaces for a Valentine's swap! I so love seeing what other people make! :)

Love the hearts! I so need to learn how to crochet. I might be off to find some youtube videos tonight.

Cute hearts!
And I love books like that, so I've added it to my to read list :)
I've a wall in my kitchen that is simply calling out for a garland of these hearts! Now, to choose the proper pattern... ;)
I love this pic! Beautiful hearts!
What sweet hearts! If I can find the time in between projects I would really love to make some myself for a garland. I've been seeing so many around blogland!
Oh they are looking great! I finally got my hands on some red yarn, now I just have to find the time to crochet some for the kids :) Have fun making more!
beautiful hearts! they look perfect! I really need to make some soon! :)
Those hearts are so adorable...just yesterday I bought a garland of mini hearts like that off of Etsy to hang up in time for Valentine's Day. I do wish I could crochet, myself--it's on my to-do list though. :)
